The Santa Cruz Oregano presents as a petite broadleaf, semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage and small upright flowers. The flowers are on long slender stems, green in color, fading into a soft purple mauve pink. The bunches exhibit a "mild oregano scent". The Santa Cruz Oregano is dried using ambient air with no added preservatives or coloring. This item will retain the same color, appearance, and integrity dried as when fresh for several years particularly when displayed out of direct sunlight. This item is not promoted to be used for human or animal consumption.
